Intermediate Part 2: The Art of Control: Resets, Volleys & the Soft Game Getting overwhelmed by hard drives? Popping up balls and “offering a put away” to your opponents? This intermediate-level clinic focuses on developing the essential skills of pickleball’s soft game—a foundational element of more advanced, strategic play. Participants will work on: improving shot control and “touch”, making better shot selection, and slowing down the pace to regain control of the rally. Through targeted drills and game-based scenarios, instruction will cover key soft game elements such as: • Resets – neutralizing fast-paced shots • Volleys – using soft blocks and directional control at the NVZ • Dinking – enhancing consistency, placement, and court movement
