Tentative Court Schedule May 2024

Schedule Descriptors:

 

Sign Up: Time slots where members must sign up using SignUp Genius.  Numbers will be limited.  All Sign Up slots that members are eligible for will appear in their SignUp Genius account.  Note: If members sign up for a time slot and cannot attend, they MUST cancel so that other members can select that spot.

Open Play: All levels are welcome.  Format of play may vary including Paddle Box, White Board, King’s Court. Courts may also be designated by level.
 

Reserve a Court: All members can reserve a court using SignUp Genius for practice or play.  Members will be restricted to one RaC each week.

Round Robin: Predetermined playing rotation of the members signed up for RR designated slot.  Round Robin sheets will be available at the courts.  
Note: Members who sign up for any Round Robin time slot are committing to the entire time slot.

 

Levels Play (such as 2.5): Members must have a minimum of the designated level to play in this time slot.
 

Ladder:  Players will play competitive matches where they have the opportunity to move up or down courts (rungs) to establish their ladder position as follows:

  1. You must register if you wish to be involved in the ladder. Registration is limited to members at a 2.5 level or above. Click < here > to register.

  2. Sign Up (SignUp Genius) is required each week you wish to play with a max of 24 players weekly.

  3. Court 6 is designated as the top rung of the ladder and Court 1 is designated as the bottom rung of the ladder.

  4. Weekly, each of the 3 rounds consists of each court playing 3 timed games (or 11 by 2, whichever comes first), one game with each partner.  Each player will keep track of their own score.

  5. At the end of each round scores will be recorded and the two highest scorers at each court move up a court, the two lowest scorers at each court move down a court, with the exceptions of court 6 (lowest 2 scorers moves down) and court 1 (highest 2 scorers move up).

  6. The first week, courts will be pre-assigned.

  7. Subsequent weeks, court allocation will be based on previous results, with any new players starting on the bottom rungs of the ladder.

  8. The format may vary depending on the numbers playing each week.

  9.  Ladder play will repeat for 8-week cycles.  It is not necessary to play each week.  Scoring will be based on the weeks that each participant plays.
